“Location, location, location! Stunning views of the Bucegi Mountains. The wonderful lady at Reception went out of her way to welcome me late in the evening and even looked after my friends while I was preparing for a hike and packing for departure the next day. Her hospitality truly stood out. The whole place is tastefully decorated, with impressive attention to detail — a rare find in Romania and especially in Valea Prahovei, which usually excels at tacky décor and plumbing experiments gone wrong. I really appreciated the spotless cleanliness, the good quality towels, the comfortable bed sheets, and the well-ventilated room — despite the heat wave, I slept soundly after a long day’s hike. I’ve already recommended the place to my friends and can’t wait to return. The shower bath could use a curtain, but otherwise there’s really nothing to improve.”
