“We had a truly excellent stay at The Editory Riverside Hotel, an Historic Hotel. The hotel combines elegant modern comfort with a distinctive sense of place, overlooking the Tagus and located within Lisbon’s historic Santa Apolónia railway-station complex, whose origins date back to 1865. We tried two different rooms and they were both excellent. What made our visit especially memorable was the staff. Everyone we met was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful from reception to the restaurant team. They were always ready with practical advice, directions, recommendations and assistance, and made us feel genuinely well looked after throughout our stay. The atmosphere is refined but relaxed, the location is very convenient for exploring Lisbon, and the hotel’s historical character adds something special. We would happily return and warmly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon. Nothing to complain about”
