“It is not really a simple matter of just what one liked but rather what this hotel is. First of all, this is a 3-star and therefore I did not expect, nor did I feel, a 4 star environment. The hotel was not recent but was very well maintained and reminded me of small thermal hotels where I sometimes stayed years ago: it has a veranda where people can sit, relax and talk, with a view to the magnolias of the garden in front and the green fields, while feeling the sun on the skin; then it has a large recreational room with table tennis and board games. It has a covered two-floor garage for free, even though there would be room to park outside. This hotel has the environment, more of a family hotel, then of a formal faceless establishment. What would be unacceptable in a 4-star hotel was very agreeable in this 3-star establishment. The former hotel restaurant, which was rented to an independent party, was surprisingly good and for a reasonable price. Also, they are willing to accomodate your requests for a very small surplus. Nice people too. If you are there, you may like to visit the museum of automobile miniatures, interesting and of an unexpected quality. I can not point to any aspect really. The only thing I did not like was that the garage was organized for two 1970s cars between pillars. With the silly wide-body cars of today, I was afraid to occupy just one place with my narrow bodied car, lest a later arrival might bump against it or open their grey doors against the side panels of my car. But since the garage was for free, I did not let that detract from my perfect rating.”
