“We got a last minute booking here as our previous stay had issues, and this hotel saved our trip! The staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. Room was spacious and clean with every amenity you could want (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush kit with toothpaste). Sent us recommendations for areas to drive too as well as locally in Funchal. Location very central to old town making it easy to walk and convenient to drive to get in/out of Funchal. Free breakfast croissants every morning, an espresso machine for free use in the room as well as a water/sparkling water machine & washing machine for free use in a common area. Rooftop access to a pool was enjoyable post hikes and there’s even a section for guests only as it does open to the public for certain days/hours (we never had more than a few couples up with us at a time). Free parking in a public garage that is attached to the hotel (via elevator. Parking is underground). Really can’t say anything but positives about this hotel and we will def be staying here when we return. Not a dislike just a note, the driveway to enter the parking garage is steep, and the garage is narrow. But we have a small sized car and had no issues! You’ll want a small size car for driving around Madeira anyways.”
