“I like the positive vibes of the reception and the room was of a good clean and airy view. The buffet menu was great with good customer service. The sauna was not to write home about. There was a big messed up with our booking so everything in the sauna wasn’t working and we ended up not able to use it. And a member of staff we complained to was very dismissive and bluntly told us that she forgot to switch it on because she was busy with no apology. When I escalated this, I was told I was checking out that I will get a refund but couldn’t process it at that point because it was a weekend that they will put the money in to my account. A week later, they contacted me to say that they can’t refund my money because I paid for this service by cash, so they can only refund me with vouchers which I already discussed with them while there that I will go to the spa or recommend it to anyone. As much as I like other services in this property, this issue and the way it was handled has discouraged me from using it again.”
