“Clean room, comfy beds, safety prioritized, considerate staff. WE DID HAVE WATER DURING THE WATER OUTAGE IN SAN JUAN. Even though restaurants did not have bathrooms open, and I assume locals unfortunately did not have running water, this hotel did. We had stayed in Old San Juan a few days prior to this visit and did not have running water due to the water outage (Mid-June 2026). The gate at the front of the hotel locks and customers buzz to be let in during front desk hours / use key when front desk is not there (late night/early morning). You are able to leave luggage in the lobby after you check out if you want to get breakfast/ do any activities before leaving for the airport or your next location. Make sure to tell Ubers to pick up on Calle McLeary. No noise complaints, could not hear any neighbors. Safe neighborhood, walkable at night in my experience. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Would recommend uber-ing to Old San Juan if visiting that area. The buddha water fountain in the lobby is very calming. :) Nice, small pool in the back. Great for a moment of relaxed down time in the hot San Juan summer! Good value, affordable.”
