“From the moment you are warmly welcomed at the front door, you know that this is a special hotel. All of the staff smile & say hello- it's a pleasure to stay there. The rooms are well appointed with aircon & upmarket toiletries. The location is superb, set in a refurbished 1920's villa on a quiet street just yards from overlooking the sea. Breakfast is a delight with fresh produce, great coffee and a good variety of cereals, fruit & cooked options (eggs, pancakes, etc.). What makes this a stand-out property is the staff. Isaac, the hotel manager, could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable - whether it's showing us all the variety of birds around the property or advising about the best places to visit and eat. Special mention also to Victor at breakfast as well as Monica at reception. On our final day we were introduced to the hotel's owner who couldn't have been more friendly and engaging. This level of hospitality is mirrored by the staff. If you plan to visit Lima, then Villa Barranco is a definite recommend.”
