“For me this property is in the ideal location, out of the city of Puno and immediately adjacent to Uros only a very short boat ride away. The location offers a spectacular view of the city lights at night as a surprise bonus. The owners are excellent people and eager to please. Nestor waited in the harbour for substantial extra time to meet me when my tour shuttle was later than anticipated. As a multigenerational native of the lake, he is also exceedingly knowledgeable about nature in the area and provided an exceptional birding boat tour through the marsh where we saw lots of cool birds Breakfasts could have had a little more variety, but I totally understand that is not easy or cheap to do in this particular location. It was certainly not an issue for me, but if you're a foodie you would be disappointed (and you are probably in the wrong place to begin with as this is not a reason to come to Uros Islands.”
