“The Lakes Motel Twizel was fabulous and one of the best places we have stayed in during our 3 week trip in the South Island. We stayed 2 nights. The location was great for doing a day trip to Mount Cook. We got upgraded to a one bedroom unit which had a king size bed and there was also a single bed. The apartment had everything we needed and more. A lot of thought has been put into the design, colours, furniture etc. Very High Standard & clean . Well done. Even under floor heating to keep your feet warm while in the kitchen area and bathroom. Also a heat pump & central heating that comes on automatically. Guest Laundry facilities too but didn’t use them. Also had Netflix. Close to Restaurants/Bar & 4 square supermarket. I definitely would stay here again and Highly recommend to others choosing a place to stay in Twizel. Great value. Thank you for a great stay.”
