“Can't beat the lake view, and having a spa on the balcony in the 3 bedroom apartment was amazing, looking at the stunning view. It was clear it had been recently renovated, so was very new and pretty. Having the fireplace was lovely also. The parking was fairly tight, and I feel like check in took a while, considering I had booked everything online. I was also never told about other services, such as shuttles into town (which I read about when I went to check out), breakfast etc, or the fact that the lakeside walk into town was shut due to council redoing it (we worked it out when we went exploring to find it), which is more annoying when we had a 4 and 8 year old with us thinking they'd get to explore (I realise they didn't close it, but would have been nice to know before we made the effort), plus the fact there was a lot of construction going on, as they were obviously renovating the rest of the hotel, although luckily there was only minimal noise disturbance in our room.”
