“This is a perfect location and base from which to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Sognefjord, as well as the Jotunheimen and Jostedalsbreen National Parks. The hotel is centrally located in Sogndal, yet in a quiet spot. The room was tidy, spacious enough and fitted with a very comfortable bed for a restful night’s sleep; the bathroom was also nice and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the generous breakfast offers everything you need for a good start to the day. Parking is well organised, and you can easily pay for the next day in the evening. Yes, it’s a bit old-fashioned with the Chesterfield armchairs and so on, but who cares – you get everything you need for a restful night’s sleep and a good start to the day, cleanliness, nice staff, a perfect stay.”
