“The location is lovely. We took the Norway in a Nutshell fjord ferry and did an overnight here. The soaring mountains and cascading waterfalls are beautiful. It's very clean but basically a hostel situation with shared bathrooms and tiny rooms. It was $600 for one night for 2 rooms and I knew we were paying for the view and location, but it was still a shock when I saw how basic it was for this price. I had requested 2 twin beds in one room for my son and daughter but all beds were doubles. My son slept on the floor, so that was not optimal at this price point. I liked the remoteness and beautiful surroundings but in hindsight I would have stayed in Flamm or another nearby village with more options and slightly better prices.”
