“Our 2 night stay was part of a 4 day bike trip which was to include the Veluwe with its incomparable Kröller-Müller museum. Our first impression (after the kind welcome and the allocation of the two charming adjacent attic rooms in the main house), was the marvelous shower! The beds are fabulously comfortable and the rooms both had large openable dormer windows offering fresh air and a view over the woods. Birdsong greeted us upon our awakening in the morning. Breakfasts are sublime! As vegetarians the dinner menu could use some improvement. Knowing that from a previous stay, we planned on eating elsewhere after first sitting outside on the beautiful terrace for a glass of white wine. We enquired if, on the off chance, we might just have a large salad and fries. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, the kitchen graciously made an exception for us. It was perfect. As icing on the cake, one of the many delightful staff members lit a fire for us in a terrace fireplace so we could cozily stay sitting outside and enjoy the sun going down. Paradise.”
