“A perfect, comfortable stay! I came to Amsterdam for a last-minute 3-day trip for a conference and could not find a place near the venue, but found this charming place instead. It was very well located, an easy 15-minute walk from Amsterdam's Centraal station. It's in easy, walkable reach of the very charming Jordaan area, literally across the main road. As a solo traveler felt very safe in the area, and at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room itself was a decent size - it's not enormous, but for a city hotel it was fine. I've definitely been in much more cramped ones. The design is sort of that dark, modern / traditional look with a lot of panelling. The bathroom is quite tiny (and sliding shower doors would probably have been a better choice) but the (rain) shower itself was great. I was a little wary after reading some of the other reviews after I booked, but all in all I really recommend it. I also thought the cleanliness level was fine - all seemed dust free and neat in my room. Overall, nice modern hotel in a charming building, great shower, great location, safe, and friendly staff.”
