“The location is perfect, 5 mins by bike to the beach one direction and town centre with shops and cafes the other - also very central to the cycling routes both East and West. It's great to be able to hire bikes straight from the hotel. The rooms are a generous size and I loved my balcony - would have stayed longer if I could have. I had a ground floor room at first which felt a little exposed, especially as I like to sleep with my window and curtains open. The staff were really understanding and swapped my room for a balcony one (as per my booking receipt). Perhaps this could be made more explicit during booking? I must say that it feels like a very safe neighborhood and couples or anyone who keeps window and curtains closed at night would not notice the difference and might prefer the ground floor.”
