“We stayed a few nights at Suasana. The apartment unit is located inside Shama Suasana JB. We completed the check-in process based on instructions received via WhatsApp. The host required us to deposit MYR 300 through a website using a credit card. After making the deposit, we received instructions, along with the mailbox number, key, and other details. The deposit was meant to be refunded within 3–7 business days after check-out; however, it was only returned after 9 business days and only after we followed up. The unit itself was overall pleasant, with a terrific view. It included a bedroom and kitchen, while the spacious living room featured a sofa bed. The air conditioning worked well, and the kitchen was equipped with cutlery, an oven, and a washing machine, with powder detergent provided. One of the best aspects was its location—just across the street from JB Sentral and malls like City Square and KOMTAR, making it very convenient. However, there were some drawbacks. The unit was poorly cleaned when we checked in, and there was an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom sewers, which we had to block off during our stay. The bathroom itself felt outdated, with poor water quality. We used water filters, which turned noticeably dark by the end of our stay. The building also has a gym and a pool on the 33rd (?) floor, as well as a nice-looking café that we unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try.”
