“I booked 2 rooms for my family and paid a total of SGD1,282 for 3 nights ($213 per room per night) from 15 Jun to 18 Jun. It was the most horrible stay in a hotel due to the following 3 reasons: 1. Check In - On the day of check-in, they allocated me 2 inter-connecting rooms at Level 9. One of the rooms was ready and we were able to check in at 2.30pm (paid extra RM5 for it). The other room was not ready due to housekeeping. However, about 45 mins later when we were about to leave the room, we were told by a staff that the guests from other room did not check out at 3pm. Hence, they need us to move to 2 other rooms at level 8. We wasted about an hour making the change instead of being able to enjoy our time in Genting. The manager told us that it is due to a system issue and only offer a verbal apology. 2. On the 3rd day, the housekeeping did not make up our rooms until 4 plus. We were shocked as we left the rooms before 12pm as the housekeeping was waiting outside our rooms at 11 plus. I complained to the manager on duty and he told us that the staff told us that they cannot make up the rooms until they completed others. This is unacceptable to me as we cannot use the room until close to 5pm. The manager on duty offered an insincere compensation of late check out (which we don't need) or a free upgrade to a corner room (why would we want to move?). 3. It is super noisy at night we our rooms (8110 and 8112) were facing the roads and the theme park. Music start blasting from 9am in the morning and there were motorbikes etc noises until past midnight. It was hard to get a good night's sleep.”
