“I stayed at Blue Chairs Beachfront Resort and overall it was just okay. The room was simple but comfortable. The AC worked great, the shower was nice, and it had everything I needed (no safe though). The bigger issue is the resort itself—it felt pretty rundown, and the pool water was green when I arrived. The rooftop scene is fun with music, drag shows, and dancers, but the music is loud and you’ll hear it from your room if you’re trying to sleep early. Location is a big plus—right on the beach, close to other LGBTQ+ spots, and about a 10-minute walk the downtown part of Zona Romántica. I felt safe walking around, and the beach service, drinks, and chairs were all good. Breakfast was included but very basic. The worst part was checkout—they tried to charge me for a random person who never stayed in my room. It felt like a scam and left a bad impression. Overall, I’d give it 2 stars. Great location and decent room, but the condition and checkout experience make it hard to recommend.”
