“We had a wonderful enormous second floor room - more like a suite - with a huge bathroom and even larger covered terrace which had a seating area adorned with tropical plants. Breakfasts were wonderful, with a huge glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and typical Oaxacan hot chocolate, along with one of a half dozen egg preparations. The location was excellent for touring, being in walking distance of all the important sites and markets. The housekeeping was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The only potential drawback was the church across the street which rang its bells at sunrise. We enjoyed the local color of the bells which were clearly being rung by hand, but lighter sleepers might not appreciate it quite as much.”
