“We went to Cancun for a quick celebratory family vacay to relax and rewind. We had not previously stayed at this resort, but knew it had been renovated and just recently reopened. While we can’t compare it to the way it was, we were impressed and pleased with everything overall. Everyone was kind and always willing to help. The Spa was a great experience and I’d highly recommend! Gym was also great as was the Pilates class. Wish we would’ve utilized the gym a little more. Be sure to make reservations for the speakeasy!! The resort was not crowded at all so we had no problems finding chairs at the pool or the beach. Both pools are great as they were super clean and perfect temperature. The seaweed on the beach was a lot, but no fault of anyone at the Zilara. We didn’t have a bad food experience. If I had one recommendation or wish, it would be that there was a beach or poolside grill. Spices, the buffet, is just a few steps away though and very easy to grab something to carry out to the pool.”
