“We had a phenomenal stay at Maradiva. The outdoor areas are beautiful, it almost feels like walking through a botanical garden. The atmosphere throughout the resort is consistently amazing and it's a very pleasant and relaxing environment to be in. Our villa was amazing and staying there felt like a truly special occasion. Everything is incredibly well designed and maintained, clean, and premium - you will like Maradiva if you appreciate understated luxury. Huge shoutout to the staff as well - friendly, helpful and obviously very well trained. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout our stay. The on-site dining is underwhelming. The service, variety of food, presentation and atmosphere all get 10/10 from me. But the flavour and quality of food itself just didn't deliver, especially considering the exorbitant prices. Major exception is the bar(s), all the cocktails we tried were very innovative, tasted great and reasonably priced. The spa could do well with a heated pool/jacuzzi - in the winter months it's not very usable. The hammam was also much colder than it should have been, although that could have been a temporary issue as we only tried once. The beach is not super good for swimming - the water is very shallow and next to a busy boat route.”
