“Good location, walking distance to most places. Quiet street. This hotel has all of the requisite parts of a good hotel, but nine of the execution. I would suggest that the owner/manager stays a few nights in their hotel to see what's it's like from a guest's perspective. Our first night, the air conditioner made a loud banging noise every fifteen minutes or so, so we didn't sleep well. When we explained this in the morning, the woman working the reception desk seemed annoyed that we were using the air conditioner at all. It was only after a second night, when my husband was able to make a recording of the noise, that we could convince them that this was a problem, and they moved us to a different room. Unfortunately this room, while being bigger (room 301), had its own problems. There was an absolutely foul smell in the shower - smelled like a serious sewage issue. The shower leaked. The lighting in the bedroom is horrible and glaring. Hand soap in the body lotion canister. Fridge and coffee maker did not make cold or coffee respectively! Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing stay, displaying a huge lack of attention to detail.”
