“We wanted a nice place to stay for our family of four (2 teenagers) that was walking distance to the main town area but also quiet enough at night to rest. This accomodation delivered exactly what we needed. Located on the main street in the middle of everything but up a long slope driveway from the road it provided quiet in the rooms although there was plenty of action in the street. The adjoining rooms we requested were able to be provided and were clean, spacious, and provided great views over the surrounds. The bonus was that Alta Vista had recently completed installing a new spacious pool which was not currently advertised. This provided a great relaxing area and views of the town. The staff were very attentive to our needs and requests (including different breakfast eating times across the family). The breakfast was substanial and worth the cost, although there were plenty of alternative options available in the town if wanted. Walking up and down the steep driveway was a bit of a chore and hard work in the heat if carrying day bags, water etc, but vehciles and tuk tuks can access to the top if needed.”
