“A few minutes after I booked the reservation, I get a direct message from the hotel through the app saying unfortunately we can’t host you due to unforeseen circumstances. They asked me to cancel the reservation from my end which involves a long and tedious process. The intermediary app kept calling the hotel asking them to confirm that they are indeed asking me to cancel, and they denied it. They wasted a few hours of my life trying to get this refund and kept saying they didn’t email me asking me to cancel, when in fact they did and I have the proof in my inbox. Very disappointed with this treatment”
