“Location was great. The location was great, but overall my stay was disappointing and not worth the price. I stayed for 8 days and paid over $1,350 USD, yet the room quality and service did not match the value. The room had a bad smell, especially in the bathroom and shower curtain, which smelled like vinegar. After showering, a large amount of water leaked onto the bathroom floor. The room also had poor air circulation, and the overall stuffy smell gave me headaches during my stay. The bed mattress and pillows were uncomfortable, the towels looked old with many holes, and there was visible dust in the room. Soundproofing was very poor — I could hear water running, toilet flushing, doors closing, and noise from neighboring rooms. Housekeeping service was also unprofessional. A staff member entered my room without me requesting cleaning or towel replacement, then argued with me about the meaning of the red magnetic sign on the door. On another occasion when I requested room cleaning, the bed was not made properly and the trash was not even emptied. The hallway carpet and elevator also smelled unpleasant. In addition, there is a nightlife venue next to the hotel, so many intoxicated guests and couples frequently came through the property late at night. The location is the hotel’s strongest point, but aside from that, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness, comfort, and service.”
