“We stayed for a week and overall we were happy. The staff were great, helpful, honest and friendly. The room was a good size, everything was in working order, the bathroom was clean. We enjoyed use of the pool and having free cooled drinking water was great. The restaurant had a fair range of options and the included breakfasts were really tasty. Overflow is located a little out of town which was fine, there was always a friendly and reasonably priced tuk-tuk either on site or available within 5 minutes. However a down side for us was something out of control of 'Overflow'. We may have just been unlucky but the loud amplified music and chanting which was played locally adversely affected our stay. We realise this is a cultural practice, though for us being woken up twice at 5am, experiencing 4 days out of 7 with some level of noise and sometimes hearing loud music continually through the day until 21:00 means unfortunately we wouldn't choose to stay here again which is a real shame because there was so much to like about 'Overflow'.”
