“The room was huge, with an amazing open air bathroom. The bath was perfect for an evening soak and I enjoyed the companionship of local lizards and frogs. The big balcony had a wide day bed, great for reading and relaxing. The infinity pool area was quiet and the lounger beds were very comfortable, with power points for charging phones. The restaurant overlooking the ocean had a fabulous sunset view along with delicious food and drink. While I wasn't bothered too much, the local monkeys knew humans meant food and snatched eggs from my breakfast plate one morning. They also tried to get in my room so you have to make sure all doors and windows are locked. The staff do their best to deter them though and as the restaurant backs onto a national park, you can't blame the hotel for wild animals.”
