“Beautiful scenery, quiet, close to train True Japanese experience! They were very hospitable, carried our bags to our rooms, provided tea and treats and water, took pics of us at the end of the stay and walked us through the meal. Our packages included breakfast and a kaiseki dinner which had 11 courses of food. Very good food, full of traditional Japanese plates, and very filling!!!! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Some spoke English and we used translation tools with those who didn’t. They also provided free WiFi The only thing that was uncomfortable was the sleeping situation. They had many layers of padding but at my age, I didn’t sleep very well. I also would have liked a lighter blanket or sheet to sleep with. The comforter was very thick and I got hot. However they did have a fan, air purifier, and I think ac but we didn’t use it. I also wasn’t able to use the onsen because it was too hot for me but we had a deep tub to I used that. The water for the bath was ok temp but the shower water was pretty hot also.”
