“We booked the suit with the private Sauna. It was wonderful and exceed my expectations. The tub was big enough for two people, it was like our own private onsen. The free coffee & tea machine was wonderful. The Match Latte's were delicious. I originally wasn't sure about the location at first but it was actually a very good location in the heart of Gion, not a far walk from many attractions like Kiyomizudera temple. The hotel isn't located near a metro station but Taxis in Kyoto aren't too expensive compared to Tokyo. There's two convenience stores nearby to buy food. The hotel also has partnerships with nearby Kimono rental stores, you you can return your kimono at the end of the day right at the front desk depending on the rental place and package you buy. Staff speaks fluent English. The hotel offers two wash/dryer machines for free which is nice and convenient however they get occupied constantly, especially at night, and some rude tourists get mad if you are using both machines.”
