“As English only speakers we really enjoyed our time at BaliAn even though most of the staff spoke only a small amount of English. They really looked after us, and with the use of Google Translate we managed to get things sorted out very quickly. This is a really lovely hotel, quiet and great to get away from the busy hustle bustle of Tokyo. Be aware that it is about 1km from the train station that takes you directly into Tokyo (Shibuya) but you can get a Uber or a bus there quite easily (or walk like we did). Also there is not too much around the hotel itself, so eat dinner in town before you come back (though the yakitori place by the train station is awesome!). The hotel provides a load of free stuff to use, including foot baths, fish pedicure, massage chairs, a self-serve free bar, etc., etc. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a calm peaceful place to relax.”
