“NOTHING - BE AWARE. as a builer in australia i quickly realised that this building is about 60 years old and in disrepair. The room smelt badly of mould to the point of making me ill. The gentlemen that worked there and was helping me was embarrassed. He was also aware of the issue. A lot of the fan vent were full of dust & if you looked a little closer at the room, elevator etc you can see that this place has not cleaned to a high standard for a long time. As i mentioned though it is an old building and in my professional opinion needs severe renovations or to be demolished and rebuilt. It is actually quite distusting. I dont generally leave such strong reviews however in this instance it is very well justified. The cyprus onsen has been puttied together as over the years i would say the hot water has swollen the timbers to the point of leaking. Small give aways are the foyer window that when you look out looks nice. when you look from the other window on the angle you see behind the plastic bamboo panelling (outside) and can see the original deck area that looks like it has been left for the forest to consume. I have attempted to contact the hotel to ask for a refund as i left the next morning as the staff member even kindly suggested. No response at all. I have been firm & kind in my approach as i feel it is well justified. All i asked was for a refund of the night i did not stay. It is unfortunate that this little village is in disrepair. something i have noticed & spoken with locals about. As usual young people head towards the larger cities to experience life, which leaves the smaller villages with an ageing population & struggling tourism. For me this is sad, however it is the same in the Australian outback. If you have an respiratory sensitivities i would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.”
