“It looked good on booking.com, the beach itself (public) is nice While the setting was beautiful, I found that the management's focus on rules and regulations overshadowed the warm hospitality I'd expect from a famous Italian hotel. I was disappointed that the pool, for reasons not explained, was closed for 2.5 hours in the middle of the day, and I was required to wear a swim cap even though it didn't seem like a proper swimming pool. The early set times for breakfast and check-out at 9:30 a.m. also felt inconvenient and unusually rushed for a beach holiday. I felt the management was heavily focused on upselling and finding ways to charge me extra. Despite booking a 4-star property, beach towels were not included and cost me €4 per towel per day to rent. Furthermore, because I booked through Booking.com, I was penalized with a €16 daily fee for two people, which they called a "card granting beach access." Even though they warned me about this fee via email, it still felt like an unnecessary and excessive charge.”
