Local materials have been used to build the Therasia, including molten rock from Mount Etna, Sicilian terracotta, cedar and olive wood. The rooms are elegant and decorated in soft, relaxing colors. Guests can explore a nearby walking path of 0. 6 mi, going through Mediterranean bush, cactuses, and subtropical plants. A free shuttle to the center of Vulcano and the harbor is also available.
