“Clean room, comfy beds, nice balcony with a lovely view. We had a good meal in the restaurant, and breakfast was plentiful. The lady behind the bar was downright rude! She was really furious about something and made no effort to hide it. Made a face when I asked for a G&T, just poured some tonic in a glass, when I mentioned Gin she had no idea where to look so I went behind the bar to show her that the spirits were in front of her on the shelf above. Couldn't see Gin but did find Campari so asked for that to save further angst. She poured the rest of the tonic in the glass, poured some campari on top and added ice. No eye contact not a word spoken. Then she proceeded to bang things about and march in and out of the bar area. She was clearly angry with the man who served our meal and the atmosphere was dreadful. I've never experienced such appalling behaviour! This was not a cheap hotel. It spoilt our stay.”
