“We were extremely disappointed with our stay, especially considering the premium price we paid. The room was advertised as having air conditioning, yet we were never informed before arrival or at check-in that it was not functioning properly. It was only after we raised the issue ourselves that the property acknowledged the problem. The only solution offered was a fan and a complimentary coffee, which did not adequately compensate for two nights of uncomfortable sleeping in a hot room. To make matters worse, lizards entered our room during our stay, adding to what was already a very unpleasant experience. What disappointed us most was the way management handled these issues. Rather than making a genuine effort to accommodate us or provide fair compensation for the inconvenience, we felt our concerns were minimised. Guest comfort and satisfaction did not appear to be a priority, despite the very real impact these issues had on our stay.”
