“We had an amazing time at Hotel Caparena and enjoyed everything about it: professional and friendly staff in every aspect, Sicilian exterior, delicious food, lovely pool area, colourful interior details and nice atmosphere in general. Reception staff was always nice and attentive - many many thanks for our room upgrade and early check-in opportunity. Premium room was spacious and spotless with great decor and comfy beds. Noise isolation was very good too, we could barely hear trains passing even though the railway is just in front of the hotel. They do slow down in the late evenings or early mornings, therefore, we had no issues and just loved the view (palm trees, sea waves and an occasional train). The breakfast buffet was good and dinner just fantastic. We are very happy we chose HB option - menu changed every 3 nights so you will not get bored of the same delicious food. A special thanks to the restaurant manager and chef as they both made sure our child would get a wonderful dining experience too. Another great bonus was a complimentary shuttle bus to Taormina and back (it should be noted that hotel guests need to reserve a seat for specific time slot in advance). Drivers were nice and mostly punctual, we only had to wait more than 30 minutes to get back from Taormina centre in the evening because of a heavy traffic that you can't always predict. We stayed there at the end of April, therefore, the beach club was still under maintenance, but we still managed to enjoy some sunny days on complimentary loungers at the beach and Caparena pool. The only place we never went was their wellness club as we were busy with tours around gorgeous Taormina. Overall, we had the best time in this fantastic hotel - it surely is very well managed and we would love to come back!”
