“Unfortunately, our experience with Hotel La Fenice was extremely disappointing. We had a reservation for early March 2025, but due to the nationwide strike in Greece following the tragic train accident in Tempi, all transportation was suspended, including our flight. Despite providing full documentation and kindly requesting either a rescheduling of our stay or a partial refund, the hotel showed no understanding or flexibility whatsoever. They refused to accommodate our situation, even though it was clearly a case of force majeure, and not a personal cancellation. As 25-year-old students, this trip meant a lot to us, and losing the entire amount without any empathy or effort to assist was truly disheartening. We would not recommend this hotel based on their lack of customer care and rigid approach to an exceptional circumstance.”
