“We stayed at Hotel Madison for one night before an early morning flight out of Rome, and it served its purpose well. The biggest advantage is the location—you literally walk across the street from Roma Termini, making it incredibly convenient for train travel and airport connections. Rome’s airport was about a 45-minute ride away the next morning. The room was clean and spacious enough, with a comfortable bed and a mini fridge. The bathroom was larger than expected for a budget-friendly hotel. That said, there were a few drawbacks. The air conditioning worked but never got particularly cold. The shower temperature fluctuated from very hot to warm without touching the controls. The toilet sometimes struggled to flush properly, and the soap dispenser in the bathroom didn’t work. There was also no coffee maker in the room, and guests are required to leave their room key with the front desk each time they leave the hotel. Overall, Hotel Madison is a practical, budget-friendly option if you’re looking for a convenient overnight stay near the train station.
