“The location is incredible; beautiful setting beside the water, interesting to explore without too many tourists, and plenty of high quality shops and restaurants. Very close to the ferry dock for day trips, which was very convenient. Secondly, the hotel staff were faultless; always so friendly and willing to help, never rushed - we can't talk highly enough of the staff and it's amazing how the hotel has created this kind of environment, very impressive and goes a long way as a guest. Thirdly, the restaurant was fantastic - brilliant breakfast with the tastiest omelettes, and high class dinners with a great wine and cocktail list! Didn't have a swimming pool, but you can take a dip in the sea, not too far away. We felt the terrace space was very large and the hotel was missing a trick by not setting up soft seats/loungers with umbrellas along the narrow passage that extended round the side of the restaurant, which looked like dead space, and could instead be used as a place to sit and rest outside with a book/drink.”
