“Location was good, bed was comfortable, reasonably clean. Furniture was dated, couch cushions were not clean and quite stained, table was wobbly and the freezer in the small fridge was very frozen up and obviously hadn’t been cleaned for some time. The worst part about our stay was that I accidentally left behind a jewellery pouch, as there was no safe in the room I left it under the pillow. I phoned the hotel about 4 hours later to be told that it wasn’t found. They were less than helpful and made me feel that I was mistaken. Definitely not the case and cloth bags of jewellery do not walk out of rooms without human help. Either the room wasn’t checked properly and the staff have lied and the new customers have stolen it or the staff have taken it. Either way someone is telling lies. Please be careful if you use this hotel not to leave anything behind”
