“Breakfast was fresh food, on-site baked bread and pastries, in a very pleasant dining room, with fresh air from open doors and windows. Since we wanted to enjoy the scenery of the Dolomites this was perfect. Our room was very comfortable, with a balcony, and the bed was great. We enjoyed using the hot tub, as a great recovery after hiking in the mountains. Also, we ate dinner several nights in the restaurant Matisse, where the meats were cooked perfectly. The hotel is run by a family that loves to provide good hospitality, which showed even though we can't communicate in Italian. Some electrical challenges in the room, and parking was very tight when the hotel was full. But these are really minor things. Moena was not a great place to stay because we were in the off-season, so many restaurants were closed during this time. But the location in the town was perfect, because everything was walkable from the hotel.”
