“This lovely hotel was as expected from previous reviews friendly and clean with lovely food albeit limited of an evening with the choice of 3 starters and mains and a dessert fruit or icecream. Water is €3 and we had a fabulous bottle of wine from Ravello every evening for €20. The restaurant was well organised and lovely to be waiter serviced by the magnificent Maitre ‘D and his fabulous staff. Breakfast was buffet with a huge cake and pastries table along with cereals and fruit and yoghurts and toast scrambled eggs and bacon come meats and cheese. The decor is 70’s throughout the hotel but spotlessly clean. The room was very small and the shower pressure was poor and alternated between hot snd cold whilst running. The aircon poor but was surprised that it was actually working 5th-12th June so a bonus! The pool was large and not cold. The private free beach with sunbed and umbrella a bonus but incredibly busy at the weekend. Take swim shoes as it is a pebble beach with stones and upon entry into sea it also drops quite quickly within a few meters it is deep. We had a fabulous live band one evening shame it was the only entertainment and that was on Sunday. Maiori itself was lovely and on the flat with a pretty marina where we got the ferries from for Amalfi, Minori, Cetara and Vietri Sul Mare. Reasonably priced you can book at the kiosks or online with the ferry company Travelmar as I did. I highly recommend Ravello stunning with Rufolo Gardens we pre booked the Amico Shuttle bus guarantees your return travel it cost €16 each more expensive that the Sita local bus but not chaotic like we saw. We got the bus from Amalfi. Overall a fabulous holiday. Hotel in excellent location and given the friendly staff and cleanliness and good food I recommend.”
