“Location - it’s quite far from the station. And taxis are €15. Good - large room that was reasonably clean and lovely. The desk and the luggage area probably need a deep clean in case of the luggage area and a replacement in terms of the desk which was looking tired. I did like the luggage holder though - it had a place for shoes under it - it had just seen better days. Bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Front desk were incredibly helpful and kind on every occasion I needed to talk to them - I still think back to how kind the gentlemen was even a few months later! I had a room with the view over the bay, and it was a lovely view. Not so good - there is no fan or air con that I could make out so it was quite warm at times. The road out the front seems to attract people with LOUD speakers blaring music. I’m not sure how common an experience this was. But it certainly disturbed my sleep and enjoyment of the room the night I stayed. Weird - the lights need a PhD to operate. Practicals -full 5 bars of 5g on Tim and Vodafone. I didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that. The Hotel provided a shuttle to the station for €15. If I were in Catanzaro Lido again, I would for sure return here.”
