“Loved the fact it’s a family run, and passed down by generations hotel. Amazing location. The hotel is very dated, small rooms and dark. The balconies have no privacy to them with regard to next doors rooms. Bathroom is very basic, if you need a hairdryer then take your own as the one provided is very very poor. The pool, the listed facilities should really say no pool. Looked like it hadn’t been touched for months, odd colour, water height very low, the indoor room when you open the door, you can’t breathe as it’s far too hot. Breakfast was not great, not even a toaster, uncovered cold meat slices. Not a great deal to choose from. Air con, not fit for purpose, it’s locked at a certain temperature, but even when it blows, it fails to cool the room as the unit is above the door, but then there is a tiny porch type bit before being in the opening of the room, so it never got that cold. No door hangers to say do not clean/sleeping, so when you’re in bed, cleaner will open the door then be apologetic. Even if you lock the door on the inside, the cleaner can still just get in. WiFi very poor inside your room.”
