“The outside balcony view to the sea during breakfast was very nice and peaceful. The noise in early morning, bins collection at 5am, bins being kicked down the stairs (the hotel is up the stairs) The workers drillings at 7am was not great either. The staff forgot to clean up our room on one of the day and didn’t change the towels. That was a disappointment after a long hot day out. We had to walk back to reception to ask for fresh towels.. fortunately reception was still opened as it’s not opened 24/7. . The breakfast was not to standard of a hotel. Overall we didn’t have a great experience with this hotel, it was overpriced for what it was. (Nearly 1,200 euros for 5days) Travellers also need to know that Amalfi coast is extremely expensive, overpriced and very touristy. The food is not even great for the price you pay for it. We stayed 5 days in Amalfi town and that was our mistake. For other travellers coming to Amalfi coast, I recommend staying in Sorento or Maiori instead, less expensive, better beaches, more restaurants and well connected with buses and boats to the coast.”
