“Prem and Anita made us feel very welcome and at home. Every morning they prepared breakfast for us in their own living room. Prem also took us on a guided tour around the old city and the ghats. He knows the place very well and is fun to spend time with. He showed us every nook and cranny that the city has to offer, many such places are not even listed in the guidebook and everything we saw was accompanied with an explanation or story. We normally don't hire guides, but in this case we highly recommend it, since as a foreigner you don't know the rules, the customs and the possibilities at such a place of special religious significance as Varanasi. You won't regret it!”
