“Basic hygiene missing in a ₹2500+/night I stayed here last night and the experience was extremely disappointing for a property charging over ₹2500 per night and claiming 4-star standards. Room hygiene issues: When we checked in, the bed sheets had visible stains and hairs. The duvet was very old and heavily stained, and the duvet cover looked the same. Pillows and pillow covers clearly had not been changed since the hotel opened. This is unacceptable at any price point, let alone this rate. We informed reception on our way out. The staff member was polite and promised it would be fixed. When we returned, only the bed sheet had been changed - and the dirty one was still left in the room. When housekeeping arrived, he honestly admitted he didn't know how to change a duvet cover. I had to do it myself after he gave me a replacement. What shocked me most was when he told me, "We don't change this unless it's heavily dirty..Even they did not. Collect the previous guuests tips as it was kept on the closed cabinet. Missing basic amenities: There was no tissue box, no toilet roll, no dental kit, no shaving kit, not even hand soap. If you’re claiming 4* charging ₹2500+ per night, spending ₹100 on basic hygiene and toiletries should be non-negotiable. Positive note: Restaurant staff were good and courteous. Management/Owner: Please understand that a 4-star rating isn't just about the building. It’s about cleanliness, linen quality, and basic guest care. Don't only chase money - invest in hygiene first. I truly don't understand how this property qualifies as 4-star in its current condition.”
