“Having stayed in many hotels in India, this was probably the best! The manager Harish Sharma was very welcoming and a visible presence every day. What made our stay exceptional was the restaurant, managed by Kuldeep Singh and his head chef Tek Chand. There was a variety of delicious Indian cuisine every day, with a wonderful buffet every night, where freshly made rotis were enthusiastically delivered to our table on demand. The breakfast was outstanding, freshly made and delivered to our table. The variety was really good too- fresh fruit, tandoori parathas and continental. The food was so good, that we literally didn’t eat anywhere else. If you do not stay at this hotel, please visit their restaurant! It was my wife’s 50th Birthday and they laid on a beautiful birthday cake as a special surprise! The location was away from the hustle and bustle of McLeodganj, which was a 10 minute taxi ride away (300 rupees). The staff were very friendly and genuine as were all the people we met during our stay. We used the spa facilities which offered a variety of massages, a steam room and a sauna. There was also a small pool and gym facilities. Nothing”
