“Only photos in the website had a very bad experience with Kinara Homestay booked through Booking.com. At the time of booking, it was clearly mentioned that payment would be made at the property during check-in. However, before my arrival, the staff from Kinara Homestay called me and demanded full payment in advance. They also threatened to cancel my booking if I did not pay immediately. I informed them that the booking terms clearly state payment at check-in and requested them to coordinate with Booking.com. Instead of resolving the issue, they refused to listen and cancelled my booking without my consent. Additionally, I tried contacting Booking.com customer support, but I did not receive any response, which made the situation even worse. This kind of behavior is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. I request Booking.com to take strict action against such properties and ensure that customers are not harassed like this. I strongly do not recommend Kinara Homestay due to their poor behavior and lack of respect for booking terms.”
