“Location is spectacular, there's no other way to put it. Even if you don't go anywhere and just sit on the balcony for the whole duration of your stay, you'll be happy. Room is great, was clean, bathroom was clean, bedsheets, furniture, all spotless. The only thing is the geyser can barely heat the water - not the fault of the manager or anything, it's just really really cold there. The manager will also provide homecooked meals with prior notice, and kitchen is also available in the room if you want to cook on your own. Less than 10 km from Harshil valley, about 30 km from Gangotri dhaam. One thing to note - Vodafone Idea gets no range here. Jio gets full range, Airtel also apparently gets full range. Vi - zero range. One minor niggle is that there's no wifi, but I'm not even sure this is a bad thing. Great place to "disconnect" and relax.”
